About Me

My name is Chaik Haw Ren, everyone can call me "HaoRen" means "Niceguy" in Chinese (好人）. I am currently working as a Lab Technician in Singapore Polytechnic, Singapore, who suppose to take charge of the lab's daily operation, in terms of equipment bookings and guiding students on their assignments and projects with my knowledge.

Graduated as a Mechanical and Production Engineering university student, I have strong interest in making anything that was machined or produced by tools, equipment, or even machines. I am considered myself lucky to be given this chance to be part of the FabLab team in Singapore Polytechnic to fulfill my wish to make things.

Although I am an engineer, I personally like arts stuff, such as drawing, musics and singing. I am confident to free-hand draw a 3D structure picture with just using a pen (will prove myself in details). I also learnt piano during my younger age, and almost reaching the final stage where I can become a piano instructor if I had a chance to continue. If I am not in the FabLab team, I will turn myself to pick up piano again and get myself a lisence to become a piano teacher.
