FabLab Salem

The Innovate TN Lab in Salem is a dedicated space for fostering innovation and entrepreneurship among students. It operates 24/7, offering resources for product development and hands-on learning. Faculty members are trained as Innovation Mentors to guide students through various stages of innovation. The lab conducts structured programs like Engineering Sprint, Innovation Sprint, Design Sprint, and Ideation Sprint to enhance problem-solving skills. A special Innovation Fellowship (Protosem) provides training in CAD, IoT, and PCB design. Additionally, the lab organizes industrial skill workshops to equip students with industry-relevant expertise. With a well-equipped workshop and an advanced electronics lab, the Innovate TN Lab serves as a hub for creativity and technological advancement.

I’m Sabareesh, from Tamil Nadu, India, currently working as an engineer at Forge Innovation and Ventures and Fablab Salem. My role involves nurturing product and service innovation practices, mentoring engineering students through programs like ProtoSem and Sprints. As an educator, I firmly believe in the importance of constant self-improvement, especially in the technical domain. This drive to grow and innovate has led me to pursue the Fab Academy, which I believe will help me become the best version of myself and empower me to enhance my students’ learning journey in a sustainable and impactful way.

I am Hariharan, an innovator and entrepreneur passionate about technology-driven problem-solving. With expertise in IoT, product design, environmental science, and industrial safety, I specialize in developing sustainable and impactful solutions. As the Proprietor of EnFreshy and R&D Officer at Lecky, I have led groundbreaking projects, securing government grants, winning hackathons, and earning patents for cutting-edge inventions like DigiMicrope and IoT-based UV-C Disinfectant Cash Box. My work bridges science, technology, and sustainability, driving innovation for a smarter, greener future.
