A computer cutting machine is an automated tool that uses a computer to control the cutting process. It reads digital designs and cuts materials like wood, metal, plastic, or fabric with high precision.
The machine is programmed with a digital design (usually from CAD or CAM files). It then uses various cutting tools, such as lasers, blades, or routers, to cut or shape the material exactly as the design instructs.
This week, I decided to design a stool. I started by creating an initial sketch and then built a 3D model using Fusion 360. My design was parametric, allowing easy adjustments to the table's dimensions and appearance.
I exported the design as a DXF file for further processing.
