15. System Integration

SYSTEM INTEGRATION

System Integration is a critical process that combines different subsystems, components, or applications into a unified functioning system. This integration enables seamless communication and data flow between various parts of the system, enhancing overall efficiency and performance. The following diagrams and mockup video demonstrate our approach to system integration for this project.

SCHEDULE

Below is the detailed project schedule outlining key milestones, integration phases, and delivery timelines. The schedule has been carefully planned to ensure efficient resource allocation and timely completion of all system integration tasks.

FUNCTIONALITY DIAGRAM

The functionality diagram illustrates the core system components and their interconnections. Each module is designed to communicate effectively with others while maintaining data integrity and system performance. The diagram highlights key integration points and data flow patterns that enable smooth operation of the entire system.

Below i have attached the basic functionality diagram in aspects of my project : Productivity Timer .

USER FLOW DIAGRAM

The user flow diagram provides a comprehensive overview of how users interact with the system, showcasing the step-by-step process from initial engagement to task completion. Each step is carefully designed to ensure intuitive navigation and seamless transition between different system functionalities. The diagram emphasizes the user-centric approach we've taken in designing the integration framework.

The diagram below shows the basic user workflow for the Pomodoro timer and how it integrates with users' needs. I have incorporated various programming concepts needed to create a functional productivity timer.

DESIGN INSPIRATIONS

These design inspirations showcase various approaches to system integration interfaces, focusing on clean layouts, intuitive navigation, and effective data visualization. The designs emphasize user-friendly dashboards that display real-time system metrics and integration status. These references helped shape our final implementation while maintaining consistency with modern UI/UX principles.

BASIC DESIGN

This is the basic design that i have designed to check the screen size and the component placing . after this i should try to make some aesthetic elements to the body .The concept is that the product should be sleek and should be able to hold in hand and carry easily . So it should have a small design and it should be able to hold inside pocket . So the users should be able to carry along the route .

TESTING DIFFERENT DESIGNS

At first i thought about taking a round design , Also i was confused with what size screen should i incorporate so i started cutting a cardboard with the oled size 1.52 inch .

After cutting the boards i was not satisfied with the size and the looks . And i found out that in this design it would trouble integrating all the components in it .

This is me arranging and checking how much size would be looking good and checking that whether its possible to integrate the pcb inside .

DESIGN INSPIRATIONS.jpg

Then i have come to a conclusion to design something boxy . so i designed a boxy design with the size of 3.52 inch . And then i have laser cutted birchwood to get a sample like this .

Then i found this is too big for the handy feel . so i became to a conclusion to use much smaller size displays . then i found a 2.72 inch ink display and which i checked the dimesions and which was perfect for my basic need .

CONCLUSION

This week i have finalised my design concept the average size how much it should be , so the product is user friendly etc .
