Hi! I am Maki TANAKA.
I love learning and experiencing new things!
I used to work as a software engineer, but now I enjoy my life with my dog and hobbies in Japan.

My Background

I was born in Tokyo, but I moved a lot around in Japan because of my father’s transfer. Thanks to that, I could experience many different local cultures in Japan!

Previous Work

I worked at Japanese computer company as a software engineer for 7 years.
Afterwards, I lived in Belgium for 5 years because of my husband’s transfer. I experienced european cultures there and learnt french too.

Hobbies

My interest expands many directions, such as art and sports.
One of them is playing at the theater and I belong to 2 playing groups in my town. Unfortunately we don’t have many performances recently, I can still enjoy it a lot anyway.

I also like sports. I do several sports such as skiing, ice hockey, and so on. As I began to play ice hockey as an adult, it takes long time to improve(still improving!). However having fun can be easily achieved!

In art, I like drawing combined with pastel(or water color) and calligraphy art.

My antenna still search something exciting!!
