Week 02

Computer Aided Design

brief.

a bit of context + plan for the week.

I come into the week having prior experience with various CAD and draeing programs. My go to programs are Fusion 360 for 3d work and Adobe illustrator for 2D work. I feel they suit the type of work I do and I've grown quite comfortable with them.

I wanted to challenge my self to use blender and inkscape this week but unfortunatly ran out of time. I hope to revisit both blender and inkscape later throughout the FabAcademy. Specifically i like that both softwares are free and yould be great to teach the community here in our lab. Additioanly im excited to experiment with blender for organic modeling as well as geometry nodes.
