Meet our Fabacademy 2025 students

Mkhitar Evoyan

Mkhitar Evoyan

Mkhitar Evoyan is an enthusiast who works at the Fab Lab Armenia educational foundation as a technical support engineer, specializing in the operation and programming of CNC machines. With a deep understanding of mechanical engineering, Mkhitar has even designed and built several CNC machines. His experience is the result of years of self-study and research, fueled by a strong passion for engineering.

The foundation of Mkhitar’s engineering journey was laid under the guidance and inspiration of his brother Gevorg, who played a crucial role in shaping his skills and curiosity.

Mkhitar thrives on research and exploration. Whenever he comes across something interesting, he digs deeper into it through extensive online research. He also enjoys teaching others, especially during the Fab Lab Armenia Community Days, where he shares his knowledge of mechanical engineering with children.

In addition to working at Fab Lab, Mkhitar runs a small business called Ad Lucem, where he designs and produces wooden night lights using digital manufacturing techniques, combining creativity with technology.

Zhirayr Ghukasyan

Zhirayr Ghukasyan

Zhirayr Ghukasyan is an industrial designer from Armenia whose passion for creating unique objects defines his life and work. His journey into the world of design began in 2006 at an art school where he mastered drawing, sculpture, and decorative arts.

In 2017, Zhirayr received a degree in Industrial Design from the National University of Architecture and Construction of Armenia (NUACA). After receiving his bachelor’s degree in 2021, he joined DZZZ Studio as a designer and engineer. At DZZZ Studio, he focuses on developing custom lighting solutions that combine aesthetics, functionality, and innovative technology, ranging from interior lighting to experimental lighting projects.

In 2023, Zhirayr received his master’s degree, further honing his skills and deepening his knowledge in the fields of design and engineering.

Derenik Danielyan

Derenik Danielyan

Derenik Danielyan is a third-year student at the Russian-Armenian University, specializing in Telecommunication Technologies. Alongside his studies, he works as a STEM educator and is currently enrolled in the FabAcademy program.

His journey in engineering began in 2014 when he attended robotics classes at Ayb School. Since then, robotics has become his true passion.

In 2015, Yerevan’s Fab Lab was established, where Derenik started as a student and later became a teaching assistant. For him, FabAcademy is not only an opportunity to deepen his knowledge in engineering and digital fabrication but also a chance to connect with like-minded individuals who share his enthusiasm for technology.
