Dissemination plan¶
iManage¶
My final project is called ‘iManage’. It is a device which will be able to keep track of the iPads in our school, which can be very hard to manage.
Goal
To promote the effective use of the iPad Tracking System among students, teachers, and school staff, to improve management of iPads.
Why?
- The iPad Tracking System helps track who has taken and returned each iPad.
- It reduces loss and damage of devices.
- It makes managing iPads easier and more efficient.

Dissemination plan
Fab Lab Display: Display my project at the Fab Lab during some exhibitions for the visitors and students to see.
Word of Mounth: Encourage my friends and family to share about my project to others.
Social Media Updates: Share my project through social media.
Newsletter: Share my project through our school’s weekly newsletter.
Feedback Collection: Gather user feedback to improve the system through surveys.
Direct Sales: If there is sufficient demand, I will consider selling my project.
Evaluation
Monitor the number of users adopting the system.
Collect feedback through surveys or informal discussions.
Track improvements in iPad management (less loss/damage).
Future Plans¶
Future plans for my project include adding real-time notifications if iPads were not returned on time. To make this happen, I plan to research additional software integrations, collaborate with the school IT team, and gradually develop new features based on user feedback.
Presentation and video¶
I am not done with making my presentation and video. However, I have uploaded a rough draft placeholder in the correct format in my docs folder. They will be available easily from my website.
Intellectual Property¶
I will be applying the Non-Commercial Creative Commons license to my project. Through this license, others will be able to share and expand upon my work. They will be required to provide credit, avoid using it for commercial purposes in case they don’t modify or build upon it, and share their contributions under the same license.
