Project idea and plan¶
This is my current sketch on my project idea
The points that I want this project to have include
- The bot has to be able to move and sense objects
- It should have a display that can make different expressions
- It should have a camera inside it to be able to monotere the area it is moving in
- It should have a friendly and pet looking shape.

Display materials¶
1-First of all, we have the portal matrix display.(this the bord that can be used to make expressions) This is a tutorial
2-Then, we have the board for the above display(will help with the programing of the matrix display)

This board can either work with a mic(it will sense the noise and make different expressions) or with movement. Since I’m not planing to make the bot move(it needs to be sturdy) I have a feeling I’ll make ues of a mini mic.
3- Electret Microphone Module.(This is so that the display can collect the input of the noise and make the different expressions )
Materials for the Movement¶
1-Firstly, an arduino uno board(for the coding process)
2-Then of course, wires for the connections that need to be made.(this is also needed for the display part of the project)
3-Then, to make it object sensing, the sensor I will try to use is a ultra-sonic sensor.
4-Dc moter driver sheild.(has connections related to the sensor and power sourse of the bot)
