My background¶

I’m Carl, born and raised in Dundalk, Ireland. Product designer by trade and spent most of my time in furniture. I have been around manufacturing most of my life through a family business and have always felt a passion for knowing how things are made.

Today, I’m fortunate to lead all things technical at the Enterprise Fablab, where I’m passionate about leveraging digital manufacturing to revolutionize local manufacturing. I also run a small 3d print farm where my goal is to supply local businesses with plastic components thereby shortening supply chains and enabling on-demand production.

Previous work¶

Prior to my current role, I had the privilege of leading “Do More With Less” a collaborative initiative that explored innovative circular economy solutions for government furniture.
