18. Invention, intellectual property and income¶
This week I worked on defining my final project idea and started to getting used to the documentation process.

Dissemination¶
My interactive map project will be released under the Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial-ShareAlike (CC BY-NC-SA) license. This licensing choice allows people to freely use, modify, and share the project for non-commercial purposes, while preserving credit to the original creator and encouraging community collaboration. I chose this license because it allows the project to be accessed by people while prevent it from being copied for commercial use.
The objective of this project is to record moments of people having fun all over the world through our Global Study Program to show the deep connection Charlotte Latin has with the rest of the world.
Its target audience will be the vistors to our school so that they can have a good sense of our school’s Global Study Program.
I am going to share my project on my fab website and also Instagram once I complete everything. I am going to share it through videos to display the function of my interactive map.
Future Considerations¶
Since the time given on my final project is limited, I will continue my project after Fab Academy to make it more perfect. Due to the time considerations, I am only able to make two sensors work with the screen. The screen will only display one image instead of multiples. Because this project is designed for our school, the project will later be displayed for visitors to play with. I will build the first version which is the easiest version of the map during Fab. After I graduate Fab Academy, I will continue work on the map to change it into a map when somebody touches one of the sensors, the TFT screen will display several images related to the same place and have some cool transitions between images.

Here’s my sample slide. I have added everything on my slide but I’ll doit once I have my final project done.

Here’s the video I made for our machine week. My video will be similar like this but cooler!
I will add more cool transition and images for my video and delete the boring voiceover. Most importantly, there’s not gonna be a breadboard showing in the video.
