About me¶
Hello! I am Tshering Dorji.
I hail from a remote village called Ura, nestled in the heart of Bumthang—right in the central part of Bhutan. Growing up surrounded by serene mountains and cold fresh air, I traded that tranquillity for the fascinating chaos of circuits and signals, earning my degree in Electronics and Communication Engineering at the College of Science and Technology.
I’m a drone enthusiast - if it flies, buzzes, or can take stunning aerial shots, I am all in! When I’m not geeking out over drone technology, you will probably find me buried in a book. My reading palette? Oh, it is quite diverse: history, classical novels, psychological thrillers, science fiction, you name it! Throw in a few self-help books because, we are all works in progress.
And speaking of food, nothing lights up my world quite like a plate of steaming Momos (dumplings). They are my ultimate comfort food, little pockets of happiness, really.

- Vitarana Drone(e-yantra Robotics Competitation 2019-2020)
Programmed a drone to perform autonomous precision landing on an aero marker, enabling it to deliver goods efficiently and accurately.
- Strawberry Stacker(e-yantra Robotic Competitation 2021-2022).
Competed to develop an autonomous program enabling two drones to dynamically coordinate and collaborate in picking and placing two different types of strawberry boxes into separate trucks as the boxes appeared on the field, implemented and tested in the Gazebo simulator.
