My final project is made in the spirit of learning new techniques and being able to work on something I found joy in. I did not make this with the intent to develop in into a product or idea to sell. However is this nightlight is something you wish to make I fully encourage to actually build the work yourself to have a dreamy light at home. Or build it for someone else. For anyone to help clear your mind, or unwind when going to sleep. And for the joy of making.

My design is inspired by work of others like the work of the kinetic artist Antony Howe and other people I credit in the documentation. However the pillow and nightlight I designed are designs I created myself. I do expect to get credits when people use parts of the work. I’m sharing all the design files on my page

Sharing

I will also share the project within my network at Fablab Arnhem and Makercosmos. To make people enthusiastic about making things themselves and seeing the endless possibilities of what you can make at fablabs and makerspaces.

I aim to share the knowledge I gained during this course and working on this project That will be my way of sharing among the target group. I will do this with workshops but also telling and showing people with enthusiasm about the Fabacademy network.
