WEEK 9INPUT DEVICES
In our ninth week we will work and learn about input devices, as well as apply examples for a better understanding of the topic. Throughout this week we will learn about how these devices are able to allow information and how an input signal can completely change the logic of a program.
What are imput devices?
These input devices are devices that allow information to be entered into the computer system, which means that the user's actions, such as typing or clicking, become signals that the machine understands and processes.
EXAMPLES
Push button
This small device is used to send electrical signals to the system when we click, allowing interactions such as turning on an LED.
Potentiometer
It works like a knob that, when turned, changes the resistance and generates an analog signal, allowing you to control things gradually, such as intensity or speed.
fingerprint sensor
Its main function is to capture the image of the fingerprint, analyzing its characteristics and comparing them with data previously saved in the system.
Keyboard
It allows the user to enter data into the system by pressing various keys which send a different signal to the microcontroller, allowing the input of numbers, letters or specific commands.
