WEEK 5 - 3D Scanning and printing

INDIVIDUAL ASSIGNMENT: PRINTING

Description: The objective was to print in 3D a sphere inside a cube; so that its manufacturing was only possible using the 3D printer. For the design of the solid, SolidWorks software was used, which was provided by Fab Academy. In the development of the design, it was not possible to achieve the design of these two elements one inside the other; Therefore, they were designed separately. To introduce the sphere inside the cube, the 3D printer's own application was used; for which the file was saved in STL format. Once the union of the two designs was completed, the object was printed in a Prusa i3 MK3S+. It was exciting to watch the printing process; which took more than an hour and a half.
