Group Test

FabAcademy2024 students gathered is FabLab iFurniture in order to make a test with laser cut in MDF.

A design for Laser-Cutting

For the requested construction kit for this week asignment, I was inspired by hands reaching the sky and by nature: A tree structures that is meant to include some tiny pots with plants.

I had a tough time trying grasshopper, so I just draw one modular piece that repeats circularly, emulating tree branches and two hands with fingers at the same time.

At the bottom of the design, the design includes some transversal press-fit pieces that bring stability to each branch/finger.

Preliminar Result

Complementary, I hand-made some tiny clay pots with flowers and leaves designs, just to imagine the whole concept.
