Background

I'm a Mechatronic Engineer with a background in engineering/maker education and video production. I produce proffesional maker-education guides at Core-Electronics, but also produce (less educational, but more entertaining) build videos on my own YouTube Channel.

Here are some projects I've made / am working on:

Dorito Powered Flamethrower

Pretty self-explanatory.

Giant F-Key

I modelled a keyboard switch + keycap, scaled it up 12x and printed it (it also has a usb and actually types F).

Newcastle Meshtastic Network

Currently a part of a small team setting up a meshtastic network in our city of Newcastle. This is a peer-to-peer communications platform and is a really great intiative if you haven't seen it already. On top of this mountain is an array of small LoRa-based repeaters on the meshtastic platform:

Why am I Doing the Fab Academy?

I'm currently doing this course as a part of my work at Core Electronics, but outside of that, its a good chance to meet like minded people, and the course is a good incentive to build a project (and actually finish it haahah).
