4. Computer Controlled Cutting¶
This week I worked on defining my final project idea and started to getting used to the documentation process.
Vinyl Cutting¶
Roland GX-24¶
- Load the Vinyl (picture)
- algint the pinch rollers (Picture)
- pull up the lever for the pinch rollers. (picture)
- Do Test (picture)
- adjusted the cutting weigth (gf) until we can get a seperation the cutter wasnt fully cutting through the vinyl so leaving material behind (picture)
Cut Studio¶

file > cut setup > property The machine will measure from pinch roler to pinch roler this sets themarial size

We can import from adobe illustrator or inkscape

Cut done - weeding, removing the outer material. When pulling dont pullup pull across
