Challenge
-
Individual assignment:
-
Develop a plan for dissemination of your final project.
-
Prepare drafts of your summary slide (presentation.png, 1920x1080) and video clip (presentation.mp4, 1080p HTML5, < ~minute, < ~10 MB) and put them in your website’s root directory
-
Very lovely lecture this week talking about how to license your work and how to escalate what you are doing for the next level.
Alhamdulillah, I’ve made significant progress with the presentation slides and video, aiming for them to meet or exceed expectations.
Future plans
When I initially conceived this project, simplicity was my sole focus. I had no intention of expanding further, but seeing the positive impact on my family and daily life, who knows what the future holds.
-
If I decide to enhance it further, my first step will be to minimize the circuit size and incorporate a rechargeable battery.
-
After achieving this goal, my next focus will be on enhancing data visualization capabilities and exploring the potential integration of [AI].
-
Next, I aim to explore the potential of integrating this with ventilation systems.
-
Lastly, I want to explore how I can link this product with raising awareness about the harmful products we use daily to clean our houses.
Up to this point, these are just thoughts in my mind, but they could become reality in the future with the right intentions.
Licensing
For the past 5 years, I’ve been actively sharing my work on open-source platforms without seeking recognition, preferring to work behind the scenes. However, I’ve come to realize the importance of being credited for the considerable effort and time I’ve invested in this content, including documentation. Therefore, I’ve decided to change my approach and now request proper attribution and license my work under the Attribution-NonCommercial-ShareAlike 4.0 International (CC BY-NC-SA 4.0) license. This license allows others to share and adapt the material, provided they give appropriate credit, indicate any changes made, and distribute the derivative works under the same license.
