Electronics Production 2

Group assignment requirements

The group assignment for this week is the following:
- Characterize the design rules for your in-house PCB production process: document feeds, speeds, plunge rate, depth of cut (traces and outline) and tooling.
- Document the workflow for sending a PCB to a board house.
- Document your work to the group work page and reflect on your individual page what you learned

The workflow for sending a PCB to a board house

For our group assignment, we have chosen PCBWAY as our preferred board house for our PCB needs. PCB Way

To proceed with the fabrication of the Quentorres board, please follow the steps below:

Download the Gerber files: - Click on the provided link here to access the Gerber files for the Quentorres board. - Once on the download page, select the appropriate files and download them to your local machine. Ensure that you have obtained all the necessary files for the board fabrication process.

Prepare the files for quotation: - Open PCBWAY’s website and navigate to the “Get a Quote” or “Instant Quote” section. - Follow the instructions provided to upload the Gerber files for the Quentorres board. This typically involves selecting the appropriate file formats and specifying any additional requirements. - Fill in the necessary details such as board quantity, dimensions, layers, material specifications, surface finish, and any other specific requirements for your project.
