Butterfly Sword

Wing Chun only used two weapons, the long pole and the dual-wielding butterfly swords. I wanted to make models for practice.

I create a model in Fusion inspired by dimension I found on the internet. I made mini print tests, that could also be future merch (magnet, pendant,…). I used for the first time the 0.2 mm Nozzle I just bought for my ender 3 V2.

Print PETG- 0.2mm Nozzle - 0.12 mm layer

To print it as its real size, I had to cut it in 3 parts wich fits together. I tried to print them flat for better solidity, but I couldn’t remove support in hollow part with my new PLA+.

I decided to print verticaly and the handle flat (no hollow parts) (PLA+ - 0.6 mm Nozzle - 0.32mm Layers).

I should have add an offset on the fiiting parts becaus it was too tight. I manage to put alll the part together but I needed to weld thmen with a 3D Pen.

Next, I want to make a mold for it and try to make composite version of it for better solidity. I already make a model to mill for casting a mold.

Stamp

Try to print a stamp with TPU. Nozzle too big for details (0.4mm). Should retry with 0.2mm nozzle.
