Week 17 - invention, intellectual property, and income

Distribution

For the dissemination of my project, I don't want anyone to make profit off of the design because it is meant to be something that benefits everyone. On the Creative Commons website I selected choices that led to the Attribution-NonCommercial-ShareAlike 4.0 International liscence. This provides attribution to myself for the initial design, prevents profits off the design from others, and requires people to cite the original design.

My design will be distributed to governments and organizations who have an interest in helping plant more plants to save the planet. This will provide a more routed and organized distribution of my design, because the organizations and governments know which areas or locations are in need of more geenery, or desire more plants.

I don't believe a patent will be necessary, because I don't intend on selling these, and the creative commons license should cover my work to disallow for other distibution of it. A patent might have been something good to have if I intended to sell my design, which I don't think would be a very ethical usage of my technology, becuase it is made to help everyone on earth.

Final project slide and video

The slide I will use will highlight all the key functionalities and techniques I used. Throughout the poster I will have sections depicting each of the key portions of my project, and the techniques were used to create that part.

For the video, I will briefly explain what my project does, and the purpose of the project, some images of me creating the project, and finally a clip of the video working as intended.
