What my Final Project will do???
In Bhutan, all the house hold have design manually to open and close the house door. So on this point of view i thought to make a smart door lock system to make more easier and efficient for all the people. In this project it consist of main MCU board (ESP32-CAM) with Telegram Bot as input which will send the message to ESP32-CAM and 12V Solidino Lock connected with Relay as an output to lock/unlock the door.

There are lots of smart door lock system online and most are with face recognition door lock.

What will you design?
In this design, I am going to design controller board for my final project.
1. I am going to use ESP32-CAM as MCU.
2. Input Device - Camera to notify the image and Telegram to send the message.
3. Output - 12V Solenoid Lock to unlock and Lock the door.
4. Power Source - 5V Adapter to MCU and 12V to relay.
5. Wiring and Connectors - all the electronic will be at the back side of door and solenoid will be at lock door.
6. Circuit Design and Fabrication - I am using Eagle to design my board and Roland SRM20 for milling board.
Physical Fabrication
1. Subtractive - Door/Frame and Base support will be cut using Shopbot. Door design will be in laser cutter machine.
2. Additive - ESP32-CAM cover, MCU base, Relay base and outer cover for all the electronic will be using 3D printer.

Majority of my materials are available in the super fab lab and some electronic items was order from the Amazononline.

1. Additive Manufacturing - ESP32-CAM cover,MCU base cover and relay base cover will be 3D design using Prusa MKS+ i3.
2. Subtractive Manufacturing - Door with frame and door base will be manufacturing by shopbot and laser cutting.
3. Electronics and Programming - Electronic components are soldered. PCB design made in Eagle. Programming is done in ArduinoIDE.

How will I be evaluated?
As per the listed criteria of final project, my project should incorporate subtractive and additive manufacturing process, electronics design and production, embedded microcontroller interfacing and programming, system integration and packaging.
The door and Frame I used CNC Machine to cut it and for the door design I used laser cutter.
The ESP32-CAM casing and Electronic cover are 3D Printed.
The main input device is ESP32-CAM module for notifying to Telegram app.
The other input is Telegram App to send the massage to unlock and lock the door.
12V Solenoid Lock and Image will be my output.
