3D Printed Jet Engine

The following was a hobby project which was to design a high bypass turbofan engine. The concept of such engines is that about 20% of the incoming air enters the core and the rest will bypass the core, hence the name. In simple terms, the 20% air entering the core gets compressed, mixed with fuel, then combusted, and this what drives the main fan that we usually see when approaching an aircraft. In return, the main fan is what creates the majority of the thrust of about 80% give or take.
