About me¶
Hi! I am Ravi Baldeo. I am an Innovations technician currently employed at the FAB LAB at niherst.I use a creative approach to problem solving and also always energetic and eager to learn new skills.I am interested in digital fabrication and design and also like building stuff.I also like DIY projects as a small challenge to create or build more advanced stuff.
I also want to be a part of something that is very creative where I can learn how to operate and control machines.I also like turning drawing into reality where you can actually see and feel physical objects.I am enlightened by laser cutting and 3d printing and would like to expand my knowledge on these topics.
My background¶
I was born in a nice city called San Fernando but grew up in a town called Siparia.During my early childhood years I attended the Siparia Union Presbyterian School after which I was transferred to the Fyzabad Composite School.I later persued Electrical and Electronics Engineering at the San Fernando Technical Institute where I attained my diploma in Electrical and Electronics Engineering.I am a Graduate of the University of Trinidad and Tobago where I specialised in Electrical Engineering.I started working at niherst in the year 2010 and currently holds the position of innovations technician.
