At first, I understood that the project and/or training of the FAB LAB was to use purely home resources and the Project was born: “COCOA AND COPOAZU COCONUT SLICER”
Research¶
TROUBLE: High rates of accidents in non-experienced people in the cutting of cocoa and copoazu coconut.
SOLUTION: Design of a cocoa and copoazu coconut cutter, to avoid accidents due to cutting in the extraction of cocoa and copoazu (pulp or grain).
MATERIALS: Wood, nails, bearing and machete.
¿What will I do?¶
Initially, the design of the prototype is important to have a solid idea of what is required, and the idea of, the cocoa and copoazu coconut slicer was born.
Who will use?¶
This type of tool would be used by the farmers of Cocoa and Copoazu when cutting the cocoa and thus extracting the fruit (pulp and grain).
