Soft Gripper

to make a soft gripper you have to design a mold, this time I designed an individual mol for each finger which will make troubleshooting easier than three fingers together that i have made in Wildcard Week

this time I will use also eco flex 30 because it's the most flexible silicon and for this mold, I have mixed 50 for each part ( A and ) 1:1 ratio

but I will avoid the past problems so I will make the hole finger just in two steps . the first step I will cast the finger shape then I will stick this shape with the cover and fabric in the same step.

First Test

I decided to put 4 fingers on this gripper so I have designed a holder with places for 4 fingers and holes for tubes and holes for screws.

here with some assistance from my instructor Adriana Cabrera we make gloves for the fingers to make the inflated symmetric

this is the soft gripper after assembling and this is a sum tests for Stamina after asimpeling
