Hi, welcome to my FabAcademy Site!¶
I once took an introduction to programming class, where one of the guest lecturer mentioned the following:
A computer is like a violin. Computer programs are good, they say, for particular purposes, but they aren’t flexible. Neither is a violin, or a typewriter, until you learn how to use it.
From then on, I was truly inspired.
To explain my paradigm shift: Imagine a world where FabLabs exist everywhere. If all FabAcademy students and mentors did not exist, will they still be called FabLabs?
I envision a world where people can freely make and create things they see around them, a world where we are not limited by our pockets, but by our imagination.
