# Overview of Group Assigment 1. Use the test equipment in your lab to observe the operation of a microcontroller circuit board - check operating voltage on the board with multimeter or voltmeter and use oscilloscope to check noise of operating voltage and interpret a data signal -------------------- ## Foreword Our team had referenced <br> <br> 1. Power Supply Unit GPS3303 <a href="https://www.manualslib.com/manual/734779/Gw-Instek-Gpd-3303-Series.html" target="_blank"><b>Click here to download the manual</b></a> <img src="https://hk.element14.com/productimages/standard/en_GB/2748522-40.jpg" width="480" /> A DC power supply is an electrical device that convert the AC current in to DC current supply using a rectifier circuit. We supplied 0.01A and 5V to the PCB. Using the Formula P=IV, the power supplied to PCB is 0.5Watts. <img src="./Oscilloscope&PowerSupply.JPG" width="480" /> <img src="./PowerSupply.JPG" width="480" /> ## Task II. Oscilloscope to observe signal <a href="https://www.tme.eu/Document/55a6f24fec57e56bb5baaeaca0f05267/GDS-1000B-MANUAL.pdf" target="_blank"><b>Click here to download the manual</b></a> <a href="https://learn.sparkfun.com/tutorials/how-to-use-an-oscilloscope/all" target="_blank"><b>Click here to look at Sparkfun tutorial</b></a> We used the Oscilloscope to display the electric signals over time. We use oscilloscope to observe the signal from Hello World Board. The programme loaded into board makes the led blinks. After powering the Hello Board, we used oscilloscope probes to anode of LED and GND. <img src="./Oscilloscope&PowerSupply.JPG" width="480" /> <img src="./PowerSupply.JPG" width="480" /> <img src="./Signal.JPG" width="480" /> <img src="./LEDWave.PNG" width="480" /> ## Task III. Multimeter A multimeter meter was used to measure the voltage across the LED. <img src="./BryanMultimeter2.JPG" width="480" /> <img src="./ledmultimeter.jpg" width="480" />
