About me

I’m Danilo Fumagalli, a 37 years old guy from Milano, Italy. I’ve a background as Interior Designer and, for the last 10 years, I have worked in the field of product design & prototyping.

I work as technician at the Laboratorio Prototipi, inside the Faculty of Design of Politecnico di Milano, where I’ve focused on how help students to create the models to be presented during exams and theses, using classic carpentry machines and new generation machines for rapid prototyping.

I’ve decided to follow the FABACADEMY because I strongly believe in innovation and DIY culture, and I want to explore different fields and learn new skills (my biggest weaknesses are electronics and programming…I think I’m in trouble).

I’m also reflecting about how to transmit the knowledge I will learn, but above all the teaching method that Fabacademy adopts, to the students ‘cause I’m interested in exploring the fields of research in design and education.
