18. Invention, intellectual property and income¶
Task: Invention, intellectual property and income¶
- Develop a plan for dissemination of your final project.
- Prepare drafts of your summary slide (presentation.png, 1920x1080) and video clip (presentation.mp4, 1080p HTML5, < ~minute, < ~10 MB) and put them in your root directory
In this week I tried to study about dissemination of my spice dispensing device.
Problem statement:¶
Taste of a recipe is decided by the correct amount of ingredients added to it. Taking the correct amount of different spices in every kitchen is a big task. If there is a device for that, the cooking will become very confident.
Target customers¶
- Profecionnel chefs
- Hotels
- Houses
Features¶
- Small in size
- We can add a number of spices in one device.
- Only 3 motors control a number of different spice containers. So the price of the device will be low.
- Beautiful operating mechanism.
- The least count is very low(up to 1/4 teaspoon)

Summary slide¶
I created a slide with CANVA.
Presentation video clip¶
To make the video, I used Adobe Premiere Pro.
Creative commons(CC)¶
What do Creative Commons licenses do?
Creative Commons licenses give everyone from individual creators to large institutions a standardized way to grant the public permission to use their creative work under copyright law.
4 types of Creative Commons license conditions **¶
Attribution (BY)¶
Licensees may copy, distribute, display, perform and make derivative works and remixes based on it only if they give the author or licensor the credits (attribution ) in the manner specified by these. Since version 2.0, all Creative Commons licenses require attribution to the creator and include the BY element.
Share-alike(SA)¶
Licensees may distribute derivative works only under a license identical to (“not more restrictive than”) the license that governs the original work. (See also copyleft .) Without share-alike, derivative works might be sublicensed with compatible but more restrictive license clauses, e.g. CC BY to CC BY-NC.)
Non-commercial (NC)¶
Licensees may copy, distribute, display, perform the work and make derivative works and remixes based on it only for non-commercial purposes.
No derivative works (ND)¶
Licensees may copy, distribute, display and perform only verbatim copies of the work, not derivative works and remixes based on it. Since version 4.0, derivative works are allowed but must not be shared.
Setting up a Creative commons(CC) license.¶
I followed the following steps.
- Go to Creativecommons.org
- Click on the **Share your work icon
- In the new page click on get started button
- Then select answers for some questions.
- Then we can copy the link and paste it to our page.
