Creative Commons (CC)¶
Creative Commons is a licence, it is also indicated by CC. Everyone, from small businesses to major institutions, now has a standardised approach to offer the public permission to use their creative works in accordance with copyright laws thanks to Creative Commons licences. From the reuser’s perspective, the presence of a Creative Commons license on a copyrighted work answers the question, “What can I do with this work?” (Source: www.creativecommons.org).
It has defines by four feature as shown below below.
- BY: Credit must be given to the creator
- NC: Only noncommercial uses of the work are permitted
- ND: No derivatives or adaptations of the work are permitted
- SA: Adaptations must be shared under the same terms
There are six different ways to licence your work using the creative commons with public domain licence, which enables authors to give up their copyright and make their works accessible to everyone across the world. From this, you can Learn More about each of them.
How to do?¶
First open the Creative Commons(CC) website > and click on Share your work
Click on Get Started button under Share your work.
Then next open the license page choose the license to the format you needed by changing options in Lisense Features Then we got a code under Have a webpagethis code is my license visitors code copy this code to your website to show the visitors your licence
