A plan for dissemination of the final project¶
The development of the Smart Cat Toilet tool is based on several considerations, including:
- Utilization of wood pellets as a pet litter absorber as a substitute for commercial products from chemical sand litter.
- Helping pet (cat) lovers to make it easier to care for pets and their environment to keep them clean and healthy
The use of environmentally friendly pet liters will be more in demand by animal lovers, the waste produced can also be used as plant fertilizer.
To disseminate the results of this equipment there are several steps taken:
- The working space currently used to design and manufacture this machine is the science techno park area of Gadjah Mada University (UGM), Indonesia (Kulon Progo)
- This area is designated as a center for the downstreaming and dissemination of Open Innovation products from the University involving the surrounding community
- Invite friends from veterinary and animal faculty from UGM to evaluate and develop this product, several colleagues from veterinarians, animal husbandry practitioners, local government livestock, are interested in further developing this kind of product.
- Delivering information to animal lovers and petshops about the features of this product and inviting them to further develop this product so that it is better
