This website contains all my documentations during Fab Academy activities.
Activity¶
Indonesia is a tropical country that has extensive forests. Yogyakarta, the city where I live, is located on the island of Java, where most of it is agricultural land and livestock. Many people still work as farmers, many crops could be grown and many livestock were bred. In addition to the enormous potential, the problems faced by the community are also many. We are from Universitas Gadjah Mada (UGM) try to get involved in the community to help solve existing problems. From our several visits to Japan, we were introduced by a platform “FABLAB” and this made us excited. Fablab is an ecosystem that will be able to encourage the surrounding community to make innovations. With the motto: “Can Make (Almost) Anything”. In collaboration with JICA, UGM preparing to establishment of Fablab in Kulon Progo Yogyakarta with theme : JOICE (Jogakarta Open Innovation for Community Enhancement).
