gantt chart

looking for a gantt-esque day planner tool:

• hour-resolution
• multiple views

• minimal buttons to press to create tasks

• investigated gantt chart tools; concluded that some of the tools suggested seem outdated
• online tools

scripts

• spent some of the past few days looking into creating scripts for easier compression and deploy of media for class
  • moved scripts from fabacademy repo to home directory for user; controlled by chezmoi now
  • pushed to my dotfiles repo
• made modifications to bashrc and the scripts to make them work as part of path, etc.
  • had troubles finding a single command to rename files in chezmoi. currently need to
    • forget file
    • rename file
    • add file
  • annoying, but not inoperable. moving on

  • will test w/ 3d media to see if my changes worked

• getting photos from phone to computer is annoying, especially if I’m missing my usb-c cable
  • ftp server requires some updated firewall (ufw) rules, apparently
