20. Project development¶
Complete your final project tracking your progress
QUESTIONS¶
- What tasks have been completed, and what tasks remain?
I designed the support module. I designed the gear mechanism and the axis of rotation. I designed the MDF panels with textures inspired by the Andean culture. I still need to design the program to control the motor.
- What have you worked? what hasn’t?
The assemblies of the pieces to make the support of the module have worked well. I had problems with the milling of the exhibits. Some strawberries broke despite having studied and simulated the trajectories. I had problems with programming because there was no error when I tried to program so I redid the board. The electronics are a mystery because it seems that everything was well soldered and connected.
- What questions need to be resolved?
I investigated the correct measurements and tolerances for the assembly of the pieces, it varies according to the material and the position in which it will be placed. Investigate the operation of the motion sensor Also find out the force of the servo motor to open and close the turning mechanism and gears
- What will happen when?
Once the final adjustments are complete, I will be able to use it and take it with me wherever I want to show products or work.
- What have you learned?
In this course I have learned various digital skills such as handling images, videos and web pages. Also, I learned to schedule tasks and manage time. There was never a break in these twenty weeks, if you skip a task for a week, everything just gets complicated and the tasks become endless. I have also learned that there is a community that can support you with the various questions that arise along the way. I finally realize that documentation is extremely important to help yourself and others
