6. 3D Scanning and printing¶
In the sixth week we enter a world of scanning and printing in 3d.
For this topic we will use the 3D printer that FabLab has using various programs that adapt to 3D designs, such as: Tinkercad, Fusion 360, Google Sketchup 3D, etc.
-
Tinkercad: It is a free online 3D modeling and design program that makes it easy for a variety of users to create digital animation projects.
-
FusiĆ³n 360: CAD, CAM, CAE software platform that allows the creation of 3D mechanical and technical models for the design and manufacture of products.
-
Google Sketchup 3D It is a graphic design program that allows all users to easily model their projects in 3D using a wide variety of tools. Therefore, we can draw lines, arcs, shapes and all kinds of objects directly from the interface.
Throughout my academic stage I never had the experience of making 3D designs, within the various programs, it was easier for me to use Tinkercad and Fusion 360.
