Week 17

Invention, Intellectual Property, and Income

  • Develop a plan for dissemination of your final project
  • Prepare drafts of your summary slide (presentation.png, 1920x1080) and video clip (presentation.mp4, 1080p HTML5, < ~minute, < ~10 MB) and put them in your root directory

Dissemination Plan

After searching I found this amazing website called CreativeCommons that you can decide which license you would make your project.

Then go to choose your license from Choose

What I decided to make my project was Attribution-ShareAlike 4.0 International (CC BY-SA 4.0). Which means You are free to:

Share — copy and redistribute the material in any medium or format

Adapt — remix, transform, and build upon the material for any purpose, even commercially.

This license is acceptable for Free Cultural Works. The licensor cannot revoke these freedoms as long as you follow the license terms.

And under the following terms:

Attribution — You must give appropriate credit, provide a link to the license, and indicate if changes were made. You may do so in any reasonable manner, but not in any way that suggests the licensor endorses you or your use.

ShareAlike — If you remix, transform, or build upon the material, you must distribute your contributions under the same license as the original.

And after you finish choosing your license you can copy the license in 2 forms of https as following:

REFLAX by Omar AbdulHameed is licensed under CC BY-SA 4.0

REFLAX by Omar AbdulHameed is licensed under Attribution-ShareAlike 4.0 International

Final Project's slide and video

Slide

I designed this slide on MS publisher using the png image that Ibrahim AbdulGhany ❤️ (Fab Lab Egypt marketing team member) took for my project and exported using Photoshop. After that I kept adding the annotations that refer to the processes that is used in this project.

Callout tool

And this was the slide at the end.

Video

For making the video I used Video editor made by windows which was very easy to work on as you just insert the media you want to add in the upper left section then you can edit in each video seperately its speed, orientation, and size. Changing each video's position in the film can be done by clicking and draging it through the whole video. You can also add music to the video and somoe animation.

And finally this is how it came out.
