Sliding glass door shelving

I have sliding glass doors facing south, and would like to put lots of plants in the window. Right now they are all on the floor, and that makes it very hard to clean. So I have decided to make a window shelving unit that attaches to the door and will provide many shelves for plants.

Here is the sketch design in Fusion 360.

The sketch was then pulled into this shape.

Require Dogbones!

Because the shelving uses a 1/4 inch routing bit, the shelf tabs will not fit tight to the side frames. Thus is the need for Dogbones. Fusion 360 does not have this capability, so I downloade an app: “nifty Dogbones for Fusion 360”, from EKINS Solutions (only $20)!

When the install is done, an app is loaded into Fusion 360.

When you bring up Fusion 360, the nifty Dogbone app is ready to go. Click on “Modify” and nifty Dogbone and Update Dogbones are ready to be used. If you move to the right on “nifty Dogbone” you can add it to the tool bar.

When the Dogbone is selected, the Diaglog is displayed:

Then select all the objects that you need to have dogbones added and then press enter:

The Window Shelving is ready to be ShopBot Milled.
