About me¶
My background¶
Previous work at the university¶
Engineering Final Project¶
At the university I started with digital fabrication on my degree´s final Project, the project was called:
Design and build of a Low budget and autosustainable 3D printing lab¶
Wich consisted in 4 printers controlled by 2 raspberry pi(s), with 4 webcams connected to a network using octoprint.
Bio-electronics Lab¶
Since I finished my final project in 2018 I continued working with the faculty “at honorem” till september 2020 when I officially joined the Research team of the University, I was working on projects with my proffessor Ing. Mirta Morán, she was one of my tutors in my final project, and togetter we worked on some students final projects as a co-tutor and also as just a collaborator.
Filament Extruder Machine¶
Two of my students worked on the filament extruder machine for they final project wich they presented on 2021
3D printing farm software using ESP3D.¶
Another Two of my students worked on the filament extruder machine for they final project wich they presented on 2021
Open Flexure Microscope in collaboration with Bath University¶
I did this project in collaboration with the CEDIC and the department of Physics of the Bath University
Plastic Technology lab¶
Pellet extruder 3D printer.¶
This is still an ongoing project, students are making tests on the machine.
How it started besides my Faculty Work¶
Since 2018 I have been building, one machine after another.
Recicled 3D printers¶
I started with recicled ones.
At first, I aquired components form old fotocopy machines, printers and personal computers.
A few printers later, I started my own 3d printer shop and worked a lot for some years to improve it.
Machines, courses and Projects I made¶
I don´t think I can cover everything I´ve ever made since I have contributed in more than 150 machines buildings and restorations, but I´ll do my best in my posibilities to at least show pictures and brief descriptions of most types of machines I made.
First Delta printer and GRBL CNC Machine¶
The first printer was really small and made of recycled rails, the first GRbl CNC was made or arduino UNO and a CNC shields.
First 3d Printer out of MDF¶
I found out I could make a cheap fream out of laser cut so the second printer I build was the one on the photo, I used this printer to fabricate the next printers and then I sold it to buy components for the next printers I build.
Ultimaker Restoration¶
This printer was restored using chinese components for the Po paraguay organization. I used and e3D v6 clone, a Makerbase motherboard and a tft touchscreen to bring it back to life.
How to build your own printer crash course v1 year 2019¶
After a while I decided to share my knowledge of 3D printing and 3D printer building giving a crash course, I didn´t know how to use fusion 360 yet when I started promoting the course so I spend like 10 hours a day learning fusion and designing the printer for this course.
3D printer for a School¶
After finishing the course, a friend from Caaguazu city got in touch with me and we assembled a new printer for that school.
How to build your own printer crash course v2 year 2019¶
At the midle of the year 2019 we organized a second version of the build your own printer course, and we did 7 printers in total.
Mostly printed CNC Burly version¶
This was one of the first cnc machines I started building since it were easy to get the materials in our country, so I learned a lot from them and help me understand a lot about mechanisms and bits, speed and feed etc.
Mostly printed CNC Lowrider 2 version¶
After the burly version I tried the lowrider 2 version, didn´t like it that much because it was hard to calibrate the z axis.
Prusa Mk2 clones¶
My first prusa style printer design.¶
Graber 3D printer modifications¶
How to build your own 3D printer version 3¶
CNC router electronics conversion.¶
Robotic arm 3D printer¶
Prusa mini PCB machine¶
LM8uu CoreXY machine¶
How to build your own CNC Router course v1 year 2020¶
Creality CR10 restoration¶
CNC router based on the Root CNC with ballscrews.¶
Inclinometer¶
Open flexure Microscope suitcase version¶
On this project I reworked the openflexure project to make it like a suitcase and containing a display and a lead acid 12v batery, and used arduino UNO plus a cnc shield to control the motors and nema 17 to move them
You can find the official webpage of the original Openflexure project from the bath university in the following link
Wifi dispenser Machine¶
Routerpar Printer Version 2020/2021¶
Hot needle cutter/CNC Router¶
How to build your own 3D printer version 4 2021/2022¶
Large format CNC Router¶
Laser cutter 30x37cm¶
Laser Cutter 80x80cm¶
Filament Extruder based on precious plastic extruder¶
2022 Routerpar 3D printer¶
CNC machines and 3D printer manufacturing¶
After a while building machines, I´ve decided to start a small factory of machines that makes machines.
