For this exercise we measured the power consumption of an output device. We used a Stepper motor and a customized Hello_Stepper_bipolar PCB. The motor is connected to energy via a power supply that has monitors providing readings of electric current (amperes) and electric potential difference (voltage). Thus, we can see in real time the changes in electric current as the motor moves.
