About me¶
Hi! My name is Aarush Vemuganti. I am a Sophomore at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. I love engineering and have loved it since I was a kid. I always loved breaking things apart, seeing how things function, and attempting to put them back together.
My background¶
I was born in beautiful Salt Lake City, Utah, but moved to New Jersey before my first birthday. I lived in Jersey for about a year and a half, and from there I moved to Charlotte, where I call home now. I started formal Engineering training and classes in the 10th grade when I was 15, which really enabled me to foster my love for it. Other than Engineering, I love playing basketball, wathcing football, playing the guitar, and spending time with my friends and family. Academically I am very STEM minded with a love for math and physics, so it was a no brainer for me to take advantage of the engineering opportunities provided for me at my school Charlotte Latin and by our engineering director Mr. Tom Dubick.
Previous work¶
Other than building Lego’s, most of my previous engineering work was for the classes I took in 10th grade, including an Acrylic Light Box and a Cutting Board made from scratch.
