About me

My name is Ximena. Although I was born in Mexico City in the seventies, most of my life has been in other latitudes.

As a world citizen, my career trajectory resembles more a potpourri plate than a linear path.

My background

As a book artist, my job encompasses teaching bookbinding to children at a city library. Therefore, as a maker, my interest within Fab Academy is partially focused on its content and the hands-on educational approach, ideal for fostering creativity and learning.

Previous work

By being a migrated woman, I have come face to face with experiencing work in various languages and fields throughout my lifetime. Therefore, I strongly wish to believe that “A jack of all trades is a master of none, but oftentimes better than a master of none”.
