The Computer-Controlled Machining group assignment consisted of an introduction session where basic safety issues were discussed along with all the basics to get started with CNC milling on the Recontech 1312 CNC milling machine. V-Carve as the default tool for producing tool paths was discussed, but the focus remained the essential tool and material parameters needed to set up a tool path generator of any kind
