Which is one of the last Arrayan forests in South America, being able to find another only in Argentina, the city of Tulcán also hides a tourist wealth among its churches, its beautiful cemetery and what to say about its gastronomy, the final proposal of the project. is on the way to creating a bus stop, but not just any stop, a sustainable one that shows information about these sites to tourists, that allows an internet connection, where a mobile phone can be recharged, that is intelligent and has sensors to optimize energy, activated only when necessary..

    Motivation:

    In the sustainability project of the University, vertical gardens were proposed as a solution to the reduced amount of green spaces in cities, for this reason it was thought to implement a sustainable bus stop, to improve the city's decoration and to combat pollution by helping to reduce airborne particles, and at the same time provide a habitat for insects which are disappearing at an alarming rate around the world.

    Why this project is important.


    Currently with climate change, we live longer periods of drought or rain and added to this we suffer the destruction of more and more plants and green areas, caused by the growth of cities, which causes insects to lose their habitat, causing its disappearance at an alarming rate, the bus stop aims to be an oasis in the middle of the city that provides a habitat for a number of native insects of the sector, when talking about sustainability the bus stop should have the ability to self-maintain the green area This is intended to be done by implementing humidity sensors that control the correct supply of water to the plants that live on it.

    How it will be done.

    The automation of the bus stop will be carried out through the use of humidity and temperature sensors, the implementation of a water pump, the parameters can be followed through an information screen, in addition the bus stop will have tourist information about Carchi.

    Inspiration 1

    The idea is to provide tourist information, hotels, restaurants, points of interest and internet connection.

    The bus stop will offer a cell phone recharge place, additional information via qr code.

    Provided with motion and proximity sensors, it will manage energy in a sustainable way.

    General conclusions:

    We could say that we currently have the means and technology to automate a bus stop that is sustainable and friendly with nature, thanks to the expertise that we will acquire over the following weeks
