1. Principles and practices¶

This week I worked on defining my final project idea and started to getting used to the documentation process.

MY FINAL PROJECT¶

Corona Virus.¶

As we are all aware of the coronavirus covid-19 Virus that invaded the whole world which started in china at the end of December 2019 and this Virus started to spread all around the world with more than 104,400,796 coronavirus cases and 2,262,854 death and the meter is still counting according to worldometers.

significance of project.¶

Human’s Respiratory System health depends largely on the air we breathe. and due to covid-19 virus attacking our respiratory system. I decided to design and build a small system to monitor the air quality in my office.

Implementation.¶

The initial idea of the project is to design and build a controller board that has air quality sensors as input and a screen to show the readings as an output. Then to design a housing to fit all these components with the battery to keep the device looks elegant. the housing will be a 3d printed housing. the project draft is shown below:

Previous works.¶

I found this example where they have used the same sensor Adafruit BME680 to measure air quality in a room.
