3. Computer-aided design¶
This week I worked designing and modeling my final project. We had to use as many programs as we could to try them out and pick the ones we liked for future use.
Experimenting With 2D Design Programs¶
I started with looking at 2D drawing programs. At first I studied the difference between raster and vector images. Based on my newly gained knowledge, I decided to use the programs GIMP and Coreldraw, since each works with a different format.

Fusion360 Rendering¶
I try to use Loft to build the chair from square base to circle top and modify with shell. Finally, the chair was rendered with acrylic red.

Fusion360 Assembly¶
Next, I try the animation function in Fusion360. First, I design and draw a hot glue gun stand with Fusion360.

Convert 3D to 2D in Fusion360 with DXF4Laser¶
This week I worked on defining my final project idea and started to getting used to the documentation process.
Project Sketches¶
My first idea, I first began to sketch out the idea freehand. I sketched out the First parts to the project.
