3. Computer Aided design¶
For this week, I have learnt on:¶
[√] 1. What types of 2D design?
- Raster: Scan
- Vector: CorelDRAW, FreeCAD
[√] 2. What types of 3D Design? - Program: AutoCAD, Fusion 360
[√] 3. Audio and Video - SimpleScreenRecorder
For this week, I worked on:¶
1. 2D design - Procreate¶
One of my colleagues showed a very beautiful postcard which was designed by her last year. She recommended me that “Procreate” was a very userfriendly and easy tool for drawing and painting. I am encouraged to try to design a rough drawing of my AAPs this time.
My first drawing on herb by using Procreate as follows:
This is my first draft of my project design.
How to achieve my above 2D project design???
How to change first draft of my project design into a real product? The first thing that I must do is using appropriate computer software for 3d design as follows:
2. 3D design - Fusion 360¶
FUSION360 can integrate the technology with the mechanical design to create any idea from imagination to graphical presentation.
After trying differenct commands in Fusion 360, the 3d drawing is as follows:
1. Rendering
Rendering can be used to see the effect of color and background changes. The following 2 pictures were shown in addition of colour and the device is put at any selected background.
2. Animation (Assembly drawing)
We can see the different parts of this device by uusing assembly drawing.
FUSION360 is the powerful 3D software because different models can be presented. All parts of this device can be summarized and shown in the following video:

shall I teach you what knowledge is?
When you know a thing, to hold that you know it and
When you do not know a thing, to allow that you do not know it.
This is KNOWLEDGE.
