In my case and like that of all Fab Academy students, all our work is backed by MIT licence, witch is an Open Source initiative. Anyone who enters my website can use my documentation without restrictions can use, copy, modify, merge, publish, distribute and even sell copies of the software.
All of my Fab Academy projects are for the public use and in my case I want to use the Creative Commons license.

This project Is mainly aimed for towns and citys and even countries that want to measure their inviroment. Though the project is mainly aimed at volcanos and heat in the ground it will be easy to change the sensors and therefor use the project to measure whatever is suited for each occation. The future possibillaties for this project is to have many of them and save the data somewhere and use that data to help scientist track the heat in ground.
Another possibillaty is to make it connect to a app and let people see the numbers.
