decided to interact with new 3D software, like:
Being already used to Rhinoceros 3D modelling I decided to improve my skills achiving more organic results.
While at the beginning I used to work mostly from extruded volumes, I started working only with sweep 2 rail, surafce building, blending and control points.
When I'll achive a good mastery I would like to start with generative design, using Grasshopper with a generative design approach.
After sometimes I started experimenting even grasshopper fundations.
In order to realize the projects I draw on these programs, I had to manage the exportation process.
The main exportation typologies are:
After Professor Neil's lesson I started an exercise on Fusion360, using the program to create a 3D file of an object I could personalize, upgrade or just change anytime. That’s why I decided to make a stamp with a changeable image on the bottom surface. The image of the .svg file is used as print in the 3D, being easily interchangeable and versatile to any type of use.
I exercised with fusion especially with the exercise of the parametric Hinoki stool of Week 7 for Computer Controlled Machining week.
I used Meshmixer to emphize the proportions of the bunny and smooth the surface.
Then using the resources given by Antonio, I tried to experiment with Piskel and I created a cute animated GIF of a cat because why not.
I was curious about pixel 3D art too and I tried to experiment with MagicaVoxel, a program especially used for Videogaming and rendering.
